Claire Coring, Artist, born in Guyana and works out of her studio in Canarsie, Brooklyn, New York.

Claire Goring’s talent and commitment to promoting and preserving the culture of her homeland Guyana has been the inspiration for many of the projects she has undertaken.

Claire has received accolades for her winning costume designs in Guyana and at the Labor Day Carnival in Brooklyn. She has produced shows with talent from around the Caribbean and is the Cultural Director of the Guyana Cultural Association of New York, promoters of the annual Folk Festival.

CEO of her own company, Hybiskus Creations, she has developed her own line of handmade greeting and inspirational cards. As a graphic artist, her creative talent can be seen in her production of magazines, brochures, newspapers and in marketing campaigns.
